A stay in Arcachon is the perfect opportunity to enjoy delicious oysters by the sea. Since my youngest age, I have a very strong taste for oysters.
It is precisely in Arcachon that I discovered this prodigious shell. I remember this tasting as if it were yesterday and yet it is a distant memory that goes back to my childhood. The taste was unexpected, pleasant, salty and reminiscent of hazelnut. That day, I found this wonderful shell very tasty!
A unique place
Today, it is important for me to share with you one of my favorite addresses: “La Cabane de l'Aiguillon”. This typical oyster hut in the Arcachon Basin is a great site, an ideal place for a tasting in front of the ocean!
The staff is nice and very friendly, it is an adorable family of oyster farmers who will welcome you with a lovely smile. Since 1967, the ALOIR family has been raising and selling oysters from its parks all over France. Oysters are delicious, they have even been awarded with the “Grand Prix d'Excellence” at the “Concours Général Agricole de Paris”.
Simplicity and freshness are at the rendezvous, get ready to spend a unique moment of relaxation!
